our Golf Course
Our attractive, interesting and enjoyable heathland course is blessed with free draining, sandy soil, resulting in a top quality golf experience, all year round.
We are renowned for our small, but beautifully manicured and perfectly true running greens. You are also likely to see a range of different wildlife species during your round, from wild flowers to deer and stoats. Our course is fun for all standards of golfer and offers a suitable challenge for everyone.
We work hard to be environmentally friendly and enhance the ecological system on our golf course. We are conscious of not using too many chemicals and pesticides, instead preferring to try and use more natural methods, in order to maintain and reintroduce all the varying wildlife species you would expect to find on this type of land. We like to think of it as ‘golf in its natural surroundings’ and we were proud to be shortlisted for the National Home Unions Golf Environment Award in January 2020, in recognition of our environmental and ecological work to date.
Due to our many 5 star ratings and reviews, we are also proud to be recognised as 'Highly Recommended' by users of Golfshake.com
