about OUR Golf Club

'The Heart of Golf in East Anglia'

We our proud of our long, rich history, with our club being founded all the way back in 1903! We are a members golf club, situated near the market town of Diss, on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border and with great transport links to places such as Norwich, Ipswich, Thetford and Bury St. Edmunds.

We look forward to welcoming you and our staff always work hard to provide you with a great experience...

Our attractive, enjoyable and well maintained 18 hole heathland course, is blessed with free draining, sandy soil, resulting in a top quality golf experience, all year round. We are renowned for our small, but beautifully manicured and perfectly true running greens and our course is fun for all standards of golfer.

We work hard to be environmentally friendly and enhance the ecological system on our golf course. We are conscious of not using too many chemicals and pesticides, instead preferring to try and use more natural, holistic methods, in order to maintain and reintroduce all the varying wildlife species you would expect to find on this type of land. We like to think of it as ‘golf in its natural surroundings’ and we were proud to be shortlisted for the National Home Unions Golf Environment Award in January 2020, in recognition of our environmental and ecological work to date.
