In 2018, the Seniors Section played 40 friendly inter-club matches (home and away) between March and October against a wide range of clubs in Suffolk and Norfolk. These enabled participants to play courses they might not normally play and to enjoy a convivial round and a nice lunch with like-minded retirees. The final match of the season against Haverhill (away) unfortunately ended in a 5-3 loss but the team still managed an excellent record over the course of the season, winning 21 matches, halving 3 and losing 16.

Planning is now well advanced for the inaugural Winter League involving Bungay, Caldecott Hall, Diss, Halesworth, Rookery Park, Southwold and Yarmouth and Caister. Our Winter League match fixtures (8 man teams playing in foursomes format) will take place on the following dates:

8th November - Bungay (home)
22nd November- Caldecott Hall (away)
9th January - Halesworth (away)
24th January - Southwold (home)
31st January - Yarmouth and Caister (away)
14th February - Rookery Park (home)

Sign-up sheets for the November matches will start appearing shortly. Please sign-up if you would like to be considered for selection.
